Travel Sagada: Itinerary Guide

Who doesn’t want to travel and explore adventurous places? Most of us love this activity although some preferred just to stay in their home and enjoy movie marathon or sit whole day for Facebook. Did you know that traveling is a good method to release stress because it gets you away from your problems. Also, exploring natures’ beauty gives you a longer life? Yes, you read it right. Based on the study that our body needs to be refreshed from city stress and one way to do it is to stepped-out from your house and take an adventure that you surely never forget.

Speaking of adventure, Sagada is one of the most recommended places to explore. Its breathe-taking beauty and unique weather will give you unforgettable experience. Trekking, exploring both caves and waterfalls, spelunking, bonfires, picnics, rappelling, visiting historical sites, nature hikes, and participating in tribal celebration – these are some of the activities that will make your visit memorable. If you are a first timer here, don’t you worry because there are guides who can accompany you for your trip in a particular place.  Most of the guides are natives, also known as Igorots. They can be seen upon registration at the tourist-office in Sagada Proper (the main town) for a small fee.

Where is it located?

Sagada is a town in Cordillera which is part of Mountain Province. This majestic place offers different destination such as Kiltepan View, Bomod-Ok Falls, Sumaging Cave and many more. I suggest that you can spend three days of your life here so you can maximize all the best spots.

How to get there?

Only way you can reach Sagada is via land because there is no airport yet going there and basically, buses (if you will commute) can be the best option. However, much better if you have your private vehicle for a comfortable travel. You can book a ticket one week before via CODA BUS LINE which is located in E. Rodriguez Ave, Quezon City. You have options for the type of bus where you can ride on from regular to premium bus. You can also book online to save for your fare, I suggest you can book for a regular and get the night trip so you can sleep while traveling, thus you can save energy so yo don’t miss every single spot of beautiful Sagada. (It’s a long travel).
